By now, it's old news that Fred left Taking Back Sunday in order to devote himself fully to The Color Fred, his solo project. And now it's time to see if it was a wise decision: is this music worth leaving such a successful band for?
Well, a new song, "Get Out," is posted over on MySpace.
I don't really see why he left Taking Back Sunday to pursue this, but who knows? He may be able to overcome the whole "ambitious solo project" thing, as well as the ridiculous name, and actually be successful. The song is kind of cheesy, but I've head a lot worse in my days. I mean... all you have to do is take a listen to what Sonny Moore is doing these days and Fred is a musical genius.
