Three reasons to watch Seether's new video, for the song "Fake It"...
1) The video offers a good message about beauty and about not believing the images you see in the media.
2) The video features lots of hot chicks.
3) Despite #1 and #2, the video somehow does not come across as hypocritical at all. Don't ask me how that works, but those are the facts.
We could analyze this video to death, but I'd rather discuss Seether's new album, Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces. It's good. Granted, I love generic rock, but I'm really enjoying this CD. It has that 90s rock feel and could easily fit in on Lithium (Sirius Radio's all-90s station). I'm still disappointed there's not an Amy Lee diss track called "Call Me When You're Not A Bitch," but whatever. This song, "Fake It," is probably the worst song on the album. And it's the first single. So there you go. If you like "Fake It," get this album. If you don't like "Fake It," take a listen to FBINS at AOL Music and hear the rest of the CD. And if you hate this song and completely despise Seether, well, then I've got nothing for you, sorry.
