In the latest of a series of coded messages on their website, Radiohead has dropped a hint at a March release for their seventh studio album.
Today's message has been cracked and it reads: March Wax. Now, many are saying that this means the record (read: vinyl, read:wax) will be released in March. Rolling Stone has taken it a step further and believes that the LP will be coming out March 10th ('X'), a Monday (the day that records are released in the UK). By my calculations tomorrow's message with read: Novembernets 2.0. That means that the album will leak onto the Internet on November 2nd.
Whatever the case, Radiohead has the music world by the short hairs with their marketing scheme. Bravo, gents, bravo.
Now just put out the fucking record.
PS - What the hell is www.radioheadlp7.com about? The cracking of the codes might get kinda old in about 13 minutes.
