A band called Foxboro Hot Tubs has posted a new EP on its website. This is noteworthy because Foxboro Hot Tubs is either
A) Green Day using a secret alias, or
B) Billie Joe Armstrong's side project.
No one really knows who the Foxboro Hot Tubs are, but the similarities between this band and Green Day are unmistakeable. If this isn't Billie Joe singing, then it's the world's greatest Billie Joe Armstrong impersonator.
Some are claiming that the 6 songs on the Foxboro Hot Tubs EP are in actuality material from the next Green Day album. I'm gonna go ahead and say that Green Day won't be giving their next album away for free, and therefore I'm betting this is a side/passion project from Billie Joe (or maybe the whole band).

I'd also like to note that the Foxboro Hot Tubs already have a Wikipedia entry bigger than half the bands in existence. As of last week, no one had ever heard of them. Who finds out about new things and then says to themselves, "I must update Wikipedia immediately!"? At least it's a cool band, so it's somewhat justified. I'd like to meet the person who feels compelled to update the Wikipedia page on the waffle iron. Wait, actually, no I wouldn't.
