The Americana-rock band, Delta Spirit, talks about their new album, "Ode to Sunshine", on their Myspace blog:
The record is almost complete. Today, the record will get mastered and then sent off to print tomorrow (tuesday). We are very excited to get some new music out to share with all of you.

What started out as an EP, turned into a full-length album because, in the band's own words, "Who needs another Ep?"
So this past summer, the rootsy quintet threw caution to the wind and dragged their recording equipment to any garage or house that would put them up for a while. Then they returned to the mountains of San Diego to complete the album.
The band will be touring with Dr. Dog and then with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah in the fall.
