If you're always messing up song lyrics, we've discovered a website that will help you out. The site AmIRight.com takes thousands of the most commonly mistaken song lyrics and gives you the correct interpretation.
There are over a hundred thousand submissions, including several different variations for some of the more popular tunes. One of the most misinterpreted songs ever, Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" has around 400 submitted mistakes - in case you were wondering, it's "A Denial," not "Bloody Nylons." Judging by this site, the Beatles are the most misunderstood band of all-time, with 1,556 different incorrect lyrics submitted.
(They even had my favorite mistaken lyric of all-time, Collective Soul's "heaven let your light shine down"; Though they didn't have my interpretation, "never let your light shine down," they did have the equally funny "Kevin, let your light shine down.")
AmIRight also has thousands of song parodies. If there are any morning radio show DJs out there, you've hit the jackpot.
