In today's episode of "Pete Wentz' Dramatic Life," we find the whole world laughing at him, and a little-known Canadian band thanking him, as he's made a huge stink about a song the band has written.

Apparently, the song details Pete's lovely girlfriend's disastrous, yet hilarious, performance on "Saturday Night Live" in 2004. The band has been playing it live, probably to the amusement of most people who, unlike Pete, realize what a joke Ashlee Simpson is.

Anyway, Pete has written a note to the band, asking them to stop playing it. Somehow, I don't think that will happen, but I bet the band got a good laugh out of it, either way.

The best thing is, the song, "So Many People," is absolutely horrible and most people [me, for one] would have ever sought this song out in the first place, if Pete hadn't drawn attention to it. It's also almost a year old now. The lyrics are pretty funny, but... come on. You can't tell me people would actually be listening to this otherwise.

Enjoy?

As a final note: if you don't want to be mocked for screwing up you lip-sync "performance" on national television and looking like the most vacant, vapid imbecile on the planet earth when you do a hoedown dance afterwards? Don't lip-sync in the first place.
