It's been sixteen years since their last album, Loveless, but finally, Kevin Shields has told the NME, "We are 100 per cent going to make another My Bloody Valentine record unless we die or something."

Of course, during the band's hiatus, these rumours have swirled multiple times, and Shields has even said the band was recording at various times over the years -- with the talk of the "next My Bloody Valentine album" taking on almost Chinese Democracy-like proportions. And even with the 100% guarantee, Shields couldn't say when the album would even begin -- "How long will that take to transpire into an actual physical record? I don't know."

And so, the wait begins again....
