Stars of Atlantic Records' past and present showed up to attend a private New York memorial for the label's founder, Ahmet Ertegun. The memorial was held at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Musicians who showed up, some to perform, others just to attend, included Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Stevie Nicks, Solomon Burke, Kid Rock, Sam Moore, Ben Moore, Dr. John and Bette Middler, who hosted the memorial.
Ertegun died last December at the age of 83 after having fallen while backstage at a Rolling Stones show.
