Indie rap darling Murs has made the jump to the big leagues with a deal on Warner Bros. Records.

AllHipHop.com
reports today that the Living Legends co-founder and now-former Def Jukie will release his next album, Murs For President, through a new deal with Warner Bros.

The disc will be the Los Angeles native's seventh, but will mark the first time he'll see distribution from a major label.

Fear not indie kids, Murray still sounds like himself:
"The majors they're scrambling to pick up people who they know have been dope for years. They didn't need us then, because they were selling millions of copies of bullshit. Now its a scramble to get these real guys, cause we have to, 'cause the bullshitt isn't selling."

Murs For President is tentatively slated for a summer drop and will feature production from Nottz, Kwame and Les.
