Geffen has recalled copies of Mos Def's True Magic after the label rushed it to stores attempting to limit downloads of its Internet leak.

According to NME, Geffen plans to re-release the album with a new tracklisting and give it a "proper launch" later on in the year. The rushed-release version of the album, which hit stores December 29, sold a dismal 11,000 copies in its first week. The label is now calling the December 29th version a "pre-release."

Poor Mos Def. Dude can't catch a break.
