Mos Def just got a whole lot more radical. Mos recently hooked it up with Spank Rock and Benny Blanco to do a remix of Justice's still-growing dance single, titled, uh, "D.A.N.C.E."

But in even bigger and better news, he has signed to Downtown Recordings, the home of Art Brut, Gnarls Barkley and Eagles of Death Metal. Working around young and fresh artists will hopefully inspire Mos to pick his career back up after last year's (wtf-happened-to-this-release?) True Magic.

If not, he's still got a killer career as an actor and he's made himself quite a leader down in Jena, Louisiana. He took the initiative to head down there and spread some of his knowledge.
