Former reality TV contestant on "Nashville Star," Miranda Lambert is about to get her grips on a judge's seat.
She'll be acting as a judge on ABC's upcoming "Six Degrees of Martina McBride," where she'll join Ray Benson and Beverly Keel, a writer over at The Tennessean, to decide which of the sixth contestants will get a chance at country music stardom.
The show airs on July 30.
As for Miranda's experience on reality TV, she says her only goal was to land a publishing deal. Good thing she stuck with it, she obviously got a bit more than that.
''I thought if I could make it through the original song night, then I could get a publishing deal out of it. I wanted a publishing deal. Luckily I got everything. I got a record deal and the publishing deal. I was really happy with the whole experience," Miranda said.
