At his recent private dinner party/money-grab in Tokyo, Michael Jackson told guests that he wouldn't change a thing in his career. Though he's had his ups and downs, and though he feels that people have tried to sabotage him, he's happy with the way everything has turned out.

"I've been in the entertainment industry since I was 6 years old," he said. "As Charles Dickens says, `It's been the best of times, the worst of times.' But I would not change my career."

Jackson immediately logged on to a computer, then put that quote in his IM profile along with "The greatest risk is not taking one" and a cheesy Sarah Jessica Parker line from "Sex and the City." Then he took everyone's money and flew back to the United States. OK, only one of those last two sentences is true.

I'm glad everything worked out for MJ. I was expecting the party to go down a little differently...
