Master P has teamed up with Seth Green's Stoopid Monkey Productions to take a stab at the gaming world. P plans to release "Play the Industry," an entertainment industry-themed video game.

Green's partner Matthew Senreich says the game is similar to "The Sims" but they haven't decided yet whether it will be disc-based or online only.

"Play the Industry" allows players to make their way to the top of the industry by being an athlete, an artist, an agent or a mogul. Still, the game is in the planning process with a script in the works.

It is expected by late 2009, while the partners look to secure a developer soon. After that, they hope to expand the concept to include a motion picture, reality TV and a clothing line.

I love that these days it's acceptable to expect a clothing line and a reality TV show before the initial concept even launches. But don't sit there and act like you wouldn't wear an over-sized "Play the Industry" shirt with a Sims-like version of the No Limit tank on it. Because you know you would.
