MTV's one-time powerhouse "TRL" is being revamped. The move comes as a result of the show's ratings being cut in half since 1999. According to the AP, MTV is favoring turning the show into an interactive program called "YouRL," which will be based around online participation.
MTV believes that this move will help regain viewers that turned their attention away from television and toward online sites such as MySpace, YouTube, and of course, Shoutmouth.
