Former Backstreet Boy/N' Sync manager Lou Pearlman, who is currently facing 5 counts of fraud, will wait for his trial in a jail cell. Pearlman is accused of scamming thousands in a pyramid scheme. He is also accused of 3 counts of bank fraud, 1 count of mail fraud, and 1 count of wire fraud, or as some might call it, the "hat trick of fraud."
The U.S. Attorney's office was against letting Pearlman free because they considered him a serious flight risk. Hmm, you think?? The guy was on the lam for months, and when authorities finally caught him, he was in an Indonesian hotel under the alias Incognito Johnson. Yep, this guy might be a flight risk.
On the bright side, this gives Lou a chance to get an early start on his next boy band, N' Mates. Their singing might be questionable, but they'll be the most jacked boy band ever.
