As previously reported, Craig Morgan, Lonestar and Charlie Daniels played a show this week to raise money for an injured Iraq vet, Sgt. Kevin Downs, who was badly burned while fighting.

More than 5,000 people showed up to see Charlie Daniels open the show, which also featured performances from Collin Raye and Joe Diffie.

The event raised $100,000 for Sgt. Downs' house, including a $25,000 check from one concert attendee. Downs is a resident of Kingston Springs, Tennessee.

There were about 2,000 military personnel in the crowd.
