A Brazilian judge has ruled that the city cannot host Al Gore's concert because of a lack of police officers.
But, the AP reports, "Organizers of the free show on Rio's Copacabana Beach said Wednesday they were trying to overturn the order to prevent Latin America from being left out of the worldwide music fest aimed at stopping global warming."
The show was the only free one scheduled and was expected to draw over 700,000 people. Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams, and Macy Gray were scheduled to perform.
