This story is fake, but it's still hilarious. There have been recent reports that a man was gored by a bull on the set of Korn's new video.
As the story goes, Korn was taping a video for the song "Bitch We've Got a Problem," when a bull that was being used as a "stunt prop" got fired up and gored someone in Korn's backing band.
Then, the band allegedly issued this statement:
We are in a state of shock over what happened. The bull was docile the entire day but when we played the audio for the lip-synch he just went crazy.
Let me reiterate that this story is fake (the rumor started a couple days ago and was quickly debunked). The other day, I wrote about Internet rumors and how dumb they are, using the Hannah Montana pregnancy as evidence. But this is a rare example of an Internet rumor that's awesome. What's the difference? This one is both hilarious and absurd. A 15-year old girl could get pregnant, but what are the odds of a bull goring someone on a video set? It's all about the degree of difficulty, people. Whereas the Hannah Montana rumor is like a simple dive from a 6-foot board, this is a double-backflip high dive. Well done, Korn rumor guy, well done.
