High Times magazine, also known as the monthly periodical for the teenager who is actively trying to get grounded, awarded the Kottonmouth Kings the 2007 Doobie Award for Band of the Year last Friday.

Also in the running were Willie Nelson; "Woody Harrelson -- dude he's not a band, but he like totally should be;" and "uh did we already nominate the Kottonmouth Kings already? Yeah? Awesome. Have you seen my keys, man?"

The awards ceremony was held -- seriously -- from "high noon to 6 p.m." at Austin nightclub Redrum during SXSW.
