Note to Korn: you're lucky to be on a show as big as Download. What have you even done in the past couple of years?
They like to point out that Download Festival "should be a rock festival" and then bitch and moan that My Chemical Romance is on it. Now -- I understand if Download was entirely metal, someone could say My Chemical Romance didn't fit. Of course, anyone with a brain would also say Korn doesn't belong on a metal festival, so I'm not sure what their complaint is.
Anyway, I pretty much dismiss anyone who goes for the cheapest insult on earth, "gay." Ooooh. You called a bunch of married guys "gay." That'll show them!
Hey, Korn... when you're relevant again and people care about you, shoot your mouths off all you want about bands that are more popular than you are. Marilyn Manson tried this tactic [using the same band, no less!] about a month ago, and guess what? His album didn't top the charts and he's already sort of... fading fast. Try something new, like, I don't know.... making a good record.
By the way, I'm really only making fun of Jonathan Davis. Fieldy hit the nail on the head when he said, "I bet Cannibal Corpse fans are saying the same thing about us." Because they probably are.
Of course, I like both Cannibal Corpse and My Chemical Romance, so it is entirely possible that people can have diverse enough tastes to like all the bands on the bill.
