Fans attending Korn's show Tuesday night in Little Rock, AR, may have noticed that scheduled opening act Droid didn't show up. Now, rumors are circulating that there was a fight between James "Munky" Shafer of Korn and one of the members of Droid.

There is a lot of mixed information about what actually happened, but it appears that the two had a drunken argument, and Munky got beaten down. Some reports say that Munky had to go to the hospital for stitches, while other reports claim he did not get any stitches.

Little Rock radio station The Edge offered its take on what happened (via antiMusic):

So last night at the Edge's Monster Ball, a lot of people were asking me why DROID, the opening band, didn't play. I chose to hold my silence until this morning. DROID is on Munky's record label, Emotional Syphon Recordings. Well, at first I was told DROID wouldn't be playing simply because "they got in trouble." Well, I later found out through reliable sources that Munky was at a local hospital getting stitches. THEN, I found out members or simply a member of DROID was the one who put Munky in the hospital.

A source close to Korn says that Munky is taking full responsibility for the fight, which he is describing as a "dumb, drunken, stupid moment."

Hopefully these reports are more accurate than that story about Korn's band member being gored by a bull. What makes this story crazy is that Droid is signed to Munky's label. A lot of people get drunk, but most don't beat up the person who pays their bills.

Here is the schedule for Korn's "Bitch We Got a Problem Tour." We'll see whether Droid is invited to any of these future stops. According to reports, they won't be.
