Lead singer, Caleb Followil told Xfm (via NME):

 

Because of the thrill of being number one, I think the songs we're writing now just really have something about them. It's a passion that I think will carry on. This is gonna be like a Wham record.

 

What kind of logic is that? Because of how well are record is doing, our next album is going to sound like Wham?

 

He could just be fucking with everybody, though, because he's a pretty big dick. (Don't misread that one ladies.)

 

The date for the recording is also being decided upon:


We end the tour January 13th, my birthday is January 14th and hopefully we'll be in the studio by Valentine's Day to start the next one.

We try to strike while the iron's hot, and we're writing some really good songs right now.

 

Remember, Caleb Followill thinks good songs = Wham songs.
