Seriously... I'm without words. Kill Hannah appears in a video featuring R. Kelly, Ludacris, and Kid Rock. It's called "Rockstar" [despite lacking any real rock stars] and the band is in the background for the entire time. Just... wow.
You can watch it here... though I don't really recommend doing so. Maybe I'll go back later after a couple of vodka cranberries, with my speakers on mute, as you can't actually hear Kill Hannah and I'm pretty sure the rest of the people performing in the video have genetic birth defects.
It's an odd collaboration and the band isn't credited, but they confirmed the rumors today, saying that it is, in fact, them backing up the "stars."
I don't know... it makes no sense, since it doesn't up the band's profile, and judging by fan reaction on the band's MySpace, it has also alienated a lot of fans. It is what it is, but it's sure as hell not a decision I'd have made if I was in Kill Hannah.
