The Bloc Party frontman has joined the Love Music Hate Racism campaign against the British National Party, who have allegedly been passing out racist music at schools. Okereke says, "I thought that was a really abhorrent thing because young minds are impressionable. Anything that I could do to try to stem that is completely fine with me."

Turns out he has a reason close to his heart for feeling strongly about racism, too. He told NME: "A few years ago my cousin was killed in a racist attack and a lot of the anxieties I had as a young person really compounded recently."

Man, that's so bogus.

On a lighter note, Bloc Party's new single, "Flux", has a video and it's premiering here.
