Kanye West is writing a book. Actually, the book is being co-written by J. Sakiya Sandifer, and I'm 98% sure that Kanye won't write more than the intro, leaving Sandifer to finish the rest while Ye drinks Patron and smokes cigars. But either way, there will be a new book about Kanye West in January. It will be (hilariously) titled Thank You and You're Welcome.
Kanye describes the book to Rolling Stone as "an entertaining volume of ‘Kanye-isms' - the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating my path to success."
With a little help from ThinkExist.com and my iPod, let's take a look at some previous "Kanye-isms" and see how they did, in fact, pave the way to success.
Kanye-ism #1 - "How could you be me and want to be someone else?"
Kanye-ism #2 - "Now I could let these dream killers kill my self-esteem / Or use my arrogance as the steam to power my dreams"
Kanye-ism #3 - "People always say that you can't please everybody. I think that's a cop-out."
Kanye-ism #4 - "Did you realize, that you were a champion? / Yes, I did"
Kanye-ism #5 - "If y'all fresh to death, then I'm deceased."
Kanye-ism #6 - "I know I got angels watchin' me from the other side."
Kanye-ism #7 - "They say, he must had an angel, cause look how death missed his ass / Unbreakable, what you thought they'd call me Mr. Glass?"
Kanye-ism #8 - "Stop talkin' bout your boyfriend, cause he is not me"
Kanye-ism #9 - "Have you ever popped champagne in a plane / While you in some rain / Whipped it out / She said 'I never seen Snakes on a Plane'"
Kanye-ism #10 - "Yeah, that tuxedo might've been a little guido / But with my ego / I could stand there in a speedo / And be looked at like a f**king hero"
You see, kids, it's pretty simple. You just have to believe in yourself. Now get yourself some Louis V., get out there, and follow your dreams. And for God's sake, don't ever use that Snakes on a Plane line, cause that's just embarrassing.
