Junior Boys and Diplo have been busy behind the boards lately, as always, working on remixes for Mr. Colin Meloy and crew, oddly enough. The Decemberists decided to show up to the remix party on their new release, The Perfect Crime #2 EP.

 

Decemberists also plan to tour in support of the EP on a tour they have dubbed, The Long and Short of It. Laura Veirs will be out playing the opening slot on the tour, which has some sort of concept to go along. Something about the Decemberists' pop material vs. their "epic, progressive compositions," according to Pitchfork.
