John Rich has some harsh words for The Dixie Chicks, who were totally denied at the CMT Music Awards last night. The group was nominated for two awards, best group video and video of the year, but came away with neither.
Brad Schmitt, from Nashville's WKRN, talked to Big & Rich's John Rich last night on the red carpet at the awards show and Rich took a second to send out a diss. Here's an excerpt from Bradon2:
"I'm so tired of the Dixie Chicks," he told me, adding he was particularly disgusted that the ladies have said they no longer feel like a part of the format.
"I love country music and I love our fans," John said.
"And if they don't love our fans, I don't know they are nominated for anything."
