This move makes sense for Jess. Country is extremely popular right now. Just look at the second love of my life, Carrie Underwood, and how many albums she's sold. Hell, even Bon Jovi went country. Also, country fans know how to treat their women right. Pop stars get degraded constantly, but country fans celebrate the hotness of their musicians instead of searching for flaws. When's the last time you saw a "Shania is Losing It" article? On the flip side, did Nashville not have enough hot chicks already? Share the wealth, you greedy bastards.
I have to hand it to Jess. Every time my opinion of her starts slipping, she finds a way to draw me back. I was starting to sour on her because of the way she was taking her musician status for granted, doing movies and commercials and everything else besides music. I like my hot singers to actually sing, dammit. I don't know what it is about her that keeps on bringing me back, but she's definitely got something special.
