The weapons and drug charges against Jadakiss are about to be lifted once a judge pushes the Westchester District Attorney's motion through to a formal dismissal.
The motion will eventually dismiss Jadakiss and a co-defendant from the charges, which stem from an October arrest where police detected marijuana and found an illegal firearm. I guess he'll be back to hanging with The Lox and Hurricane Chris.
Jadakiss' lawyer said it was a travesty that the case had gone so far and added that the rapper "has had this cloud over his head for a year, affecting his career."
