Ja Rule and Lil Wayne were both arrested in separate incidents over the weekend in Manhattan. Oddly, both were picked up on Sunday night and both were charged with carrying illegal .40 caliber handguns.
Wayne's arrest occurred following his show at the Beacon Theatre. This is going to sound shocking, but police approached Wayne and another man around 11:30 PM as they were smoking marijuana outside a tour bus on 61st Street and Columbus Avenue.
Ja Rule was arrested about an hour before, after being pulled over for speeding on West End Avenue.
Ja and Wayne collaborate on the new song "Uh-Oh." How's that for irony?
