A few weeks ago we all found out that the ever-so-scary Ja Rule was more than just a little homophobic when he talked to Complex Magazine. In that interview, he referred to the Congressional hearings on hip hop (which threw down yesterday), and said he wasn't as worried about the effects of his lyrics as he was about the effects of gays being gay.

Next thing you know, everybody was pissed, most of all the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, who responded by encouraging magazines not to provide "a platform for his ugly, vulgar displays of prejudice." Yeow.

So when Ja took some time out to talk to Spinner recently, he was backing that ass up:
I'm a very avid speaker for all people's rights and people having their own preference. I was taken out of context. My statement was more about where our mind state is as a people. We're focused on the wrong things -- like, our country is at war right now. These things are more of a problem to me. Like another case I just read about -- young ladies being raped by six white men. These are the stories that should be popping up on my TV screen. That's what I was talking about, and somehow it got spun into some other s---.

Is he aware that we still have those original quotes? I'm sorry, but there's just no way around this one, snafu or not, dude's words were harsh. See for yourself:
Lets talk about all these f--king shows that they have on MTV that is promoting homosexuality, that my kids can't watch this sh-t. Dating shows that's showing two guys or two girls in mid-afternoon. Let's talk about s--t like that! If that's not f--king up America, I don't know what is.

Yep, he definitely pulled a Jerry Falwell and straight up blamed homosexuality for "fucking up America." Rest assured that this whole situation will do wonders for Ja's up-and-coming career ... as a retired rapper.
