Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Bill Clinton all turned out to support the Paul Simon Children's Health Fund in New York City this past Wednesday night. Anthony performed at the benefit.
J. Lo spoke to the media about the charity's cause:
It's our responsibility as human beings to do as much as we can to help each other and for me, I've always had the children's charities close to my heart.
I work with the Children's Hospital in LA. I know some of you guys know that.
They are our future and it is very important that they have all that they need to grow and prosper to healthy human beings and that is what we want to do.
My eyes aren't too good... is that Jenny Lopez or Bono? You know what's funny? Aside from Mr. U2, Jenny de la Block is one of the musicians who does the most of these charity events. Seems like she's always going out of her way to help others. And yet, what is it you always hear about her? That she's a bitch. Does that make sense? I guess the lesson is, if you ever plan on becoming a great humanitarian, make sure you don't release any shitty dance songs first.
This one's for the kids...
