01. Johnny LydonRotten forgot the words to his own songs.
02. Johnny LydonRotten insulted members of the crowd.
03. Johnny LydonRotten threatened to kill someone.
All of this happened at last night's Los Angeles show, which was attended by 500 "lucky" people. Nothing like seeing a dude in his 50s dressed in traditional Indian garb, getting wasted and also stopping the show for a bathroom break. Which also happened, according to reports from the show.
At least, when Lydon came back from the bathroom, claiming he was "15 pounds lighter," he wasn't shitting on the fans -- which he otherwise did, such as when he called a woman who hugged bassist Glen Matlock "fat" from the stage.
But the real story is when the singer was hit in the face by a drink thrown by a fan who claimed he sneaked into the show. Lydon called him a "coward" and threatened to kill him. Since it appears the guy is alive and Lydon is not in jail, it's safe to say nobody died by his hands at this awesome-sounding show.
The band will be staying in the US to do some television performances before heading back to the UK for the rest of their currently scheduled reunion shows. Unfortunately, it won't end there -- the band will most likely continue to pound what is left of their legacy into the ground in 2008.
Sad, really.
