CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR IRON MAN RINGTONE
Black Sabbath released the song "Iron Man" in 1970, on their second album, titled Paranoid. The song was also [rightfully] included on their 1976 compilation, We Sold Our Souls For Rock N Roll. Here's a bit of trivia for you: despite popular belief, singer Ozzy Osbourne never sings the line "I am iron man" in the actual song -- the lines never made it into the lyrics beyond the distorted opening.
The song actually tells a story of a man who is accidentially exposed to a magnetic field that turns him into a man made of iron after time traveling. His aim is to warn people that he has seen the end of the world, but because he is made of iron, he can't speak, and ends up killing all of humanity in frustration. It may not be the most upbeat song ever, but it has certainly endured as one of the greatest rock-metal classics of all time.
The song is also featured in the trailer for the Iron Man movie, one of the latest Marvel Comics movies to hit the big screen. As such, the song has been enjoying renewed interest from fans old and new alike. What better way to show your love for Black Sabbath or the Iron Man comic character than getting an Iron Man ringtone?
