Godsmack and a handful of other acts have been slated to play a tribute concert on August 19th for Brad Delp, the former singer of the band Boston who committed suicide in March. The concert will take place at Boston's Bank of America Pavilion, and features the following tentative lineup: Hunter, RTZ, Godsmack, Farrenheit, Beatlejuice and Ernie & the Automatics. Robin Zander of Cheap Trick and Gary Cherone of Extreme are also scheduled to appear as special guests.

The surviving members of Boston will be reuniting at the event, despite the band's history of personal and legal problems. Delp's daughter Jennifer will also be on hand to show a film she made especially for the occassion. Delp is a graduate of the film school at USC.

(Is it too soon for a "Less Than a Feeling" joke? Yeah? OK, sorry.)
