Reports have surfaced that everyone's favorite boozing, cruising, and particularly sleepy pop star will appear on the UK TV show "Extras." He'll be appearing in a special Christmas episode of the show, that will also be the series finale.

 

The show, which features Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, will have George playing himself, mocking his past indiscretions. No word if there will be any AIDS jokes, but if there were, I'd actually import the DVD. Or at least watch it on YouTube.

 

The scene featuring George is said to have him cruising for gay sex in London, smoking up, having a kebab, and asking for actor Andy Millman to "check for paparazzi."

 

Seems like more of a softball sketch than anything else, but what can you do? It's not like the guy recently admitted he was terrified of being tested for AIDS, out of a fear that he actually might have it.  Nope, no way to make fun of that kind of stupidity. Instead, show him eating a kebab.

 

Maybe I just don't get British humor.
