It's been almost 15 years since George Strait made his acting debut, in 1992's Pure Country, and Strait has decided to try again ... maybe.
Now that the singer is in the Country Music Hall of Fame and has 54 No. 1 hits, no wonder he's ready to move on.
"I am starting to get the bug again. If the right thing was to come along, I may get serious. I need to do it again because I really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun," Strait said.
Maybe this time he'll branch out a little and play a role where he has to ... well, act. Of course, it would be pretty amazing if he played a country singer again.
