You can always count on Gene Simmons to say some stupid stuff and pretend like people care. Watch this.
Gene taped an interview on "Conversations with Michael Eisner" the other day and although he wasn't quite as ridiculous as usual, he did have to word ‘em up in regards to his kids. The infinitely-tongued bass player for KISS said he won't be handing over his riches to his children, they'll have to work for their piece of the pie, sort of ...:
What I wanna do is what every bird does in its nest - it forces the kids to go out there and figure it out for themselves. By the way, in terms of an inheritance and stuff, they're gonna be taken care of, but they will never be rich off my money. Because every year they should be forced to get up out of bed and go out and work and make their own way.
Gene continued that he would pay his children a yearly allowance for rent and food but for riches, they'll have to look elsewhere. He added that he might give some of his money away. Awww, that's sweet.
The episode is set to air tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 26, at 9 p.m. on CNBC.
