Well Garth's nine-day run in Kansas City just got a bit better. The last show of the series - set for November 14 - will be broadcast live in more than 300 theaters. Garth, who has thus far been down on digital downloading, said he's excited about this particular technology, not that it's anything new. From Brooks' press statement:

 

 

It's things like this that make me praise technology. to go on a virtual tour without leaving home. How does it get any better than that?

 

 

Tickets to the movie-theater concert will be $10 and they go on sale Friday on Garth's website. Brooks sold almost 16,000 tickets to the actual shows in less than two hours. He'll be playing in support of The Ultimate Hits, which, uh, hits shelves on November 6.
