Since Fuel's Angels & Devils album came out, both singer Toryn Green and guitarist/songwriter Carl Bell had been pushing for the song "Gone" to be a single.
It seems they've gotten their wish. After the moderate success of the lead single "Wasted Time" and its lame video, Fuel will be releasing "Gone" as single #2.
Speaking as one of Fuel's biggest -- and last remaining -- fans, this is a bad choice. "Gone" is a decent songs, but it's ordinary when compared with the rest of Angels & Devils. Also, it sounds too much like one of Fuel's older songs, "Won't Back Down." The obvious choice for a single on A&D is "Leave The Memories Alone." I don't know why there was even a debate. You'll get one more single, Fuel - do the right thing.
