The band spoke candidly to Altitude TV about kicking Ben out of the band and the decision to hand singing duties over to former drummer Francis Mark. And by candidly, I mean, quite harshly.
I really wouldn't want to be Ben, sitting there saying, "hmmm, let's see how the guys are doing", then seeing that. It has to be uncomfortable to know someone would like to "get you" and will hold that hatred until the day he dies.
The thing is, while it may have been hard for the band to deal with those changes, there's no doubt that Holding A Wolf By The Ears is one of the best albums released so far this year. I guess you can't blame them for being bitter that their singer decided to no-show the recording, even if the new album is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Some clouds have silver linings, but they're still clouds.
