Frank has now said what we've known all along: Manson is "just talking" for the press. He's actually met the band before and been nice to them -- and certainly never brought all his negative comments up to their faces. What a man!

Frank said, "I'm really sorry if he feels we ripped him off. It would have been nice if he could have said something to our faces but he's been all smiles every time I've seen him. Maybe he's doing it for the press. Some people just like to talk."

He also added, "The funny thing is that he seems to have lashed out at us about the make-up. That's weird to me, because I had heard of Alice Cooper before I heard of Marilyn Manson. I don't know how he could be mad at us. We never came out and said we were going to call ourselves by a girl's name and then a serial killer's name."

Very true.

Manson didn't innovate makeup, costumes, stage shows, or anything that My Chemical Romance has ever done. It's been done a million times -- and fat better than Manson ever did it -- proven by the longevity of bands like KISS and Alice Cooper.

The music is nothing alike.

The look is nothing alike.

Manson must be sucking on some sour grapes, now that his latest album has barely sold a fraction of what The Black Parade did -- and is nowhere near the Platinum status that the album has been awarded.
