I’ve written about Chris Brown before because I think he’s a generally talented guy who is worth more respect than most pop/R&B singers out there.  Then I hear about his stunt last week with how he man-handled Rhianna and I can’t understand how guys like manage to become so successful.

So there you have his whole scumbag-behind-the-scenes story.  Regardless, his career isn’t taking a real hit yet.  His ringtone sales are still through the roof.  The Forever Ringtone by Chris Brown is extremely popular right now.

We can only hope that he falls into obscurity rather than all the other stars out there that got rocketed even further into stardom by being put into prison.  Anyway, people don’t seem to care, so they’re going to go ahead and get their Chris Brown ringtones regardless.  Hey, maybe the recording company will take a big enough chunk that it won’t filter back to him.
