In a recent interview with Pop Matters, Gregg Allman says what's on everybody's mind about RS: "I remember when Rolling Stone was really an amazing music magazine. Now they got in there all politics and all kinds of shit, you got to dig around a little to find some music. They still do some good stuff, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t read it. Mojo is a good one, though."
How hard you have fallen RS. Gregg Allman, a dude who played music in the 70s (aka the only era you hold in high regard), thinks Mojo is a better music magazine.
Here are some steps you need to take to regain some respect:
- Hire more than two people that are under 30 and actually give them some responsibility.
- Never, ever put Fall Out Boy on the cover again.
- Shut Austin Scaggs up.
- Read the Internet.
- Listen to music that didn't come out on a major label and was made recently.
- Give somebody, anybody, five stars that doesn't have the last name Jagger, Dylan, or Young.
