Speaking at a New York luncheon yesterday, Patrick Stump said he has written a few songs, but isn't ready to do anything with them quite yet, then went on to reveal some details of the band's new video.
He went on to talk about how Billie Joe Armstrong inspired him to push the envelope with his music -- explaining the very different sounds of Infinity on High. He referenced a comment Billie Joe once made about not wanting to play the same three-chord punk for his whole life, and how he took it to heart, noting both bands have certainly changed stylistically, but they're still true to who they are.
As for the new video, the band shot it in South Africa on their recent trip there, and it's for I'm Like a Lawyer With the Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You)."
