Faith Hill is really getting down with the NFL this year. In addition to helping kickoff the 2007 NFL season with a September 6 performance in Indianapolis, Faith's version of "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" will serve as the opening theme to NBC's "Sunday Night Football."
Faith replaces Pink, who sang it last year. The track is set to the tune of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and is altered for each week's game - both teams playing on a particular Sunday are mentioned in the song.
Also of note, Mrs. Tim McGraw will release The Hits on October 2. The album features hits from 14-years of Faith's career, including "Breathe," "This Kiss" and "Mississippi Girl."
