We don't even have Halloween stuff in the stores yet, but UK bands are planning their "Christmas singles" already, as they're a huge tradition in the UK. James Dean Bradfield recently revealed the band is working on a Christmas single of their own.
Bradfield was on BBC Music 6 yesterday, discussing the band's single, and he said:
I think we've got more of a sense of humor than people realize. We regard it [the Christmas single concept] as a great, great tradition. The way it reads is a bit funny at the moment. We've got to decide what we're going to do with it. We've always got lots of little plans and dreams - one of is to do a Christmas single.Maybe this year will be the year that dream comes true; the band has been on a roll, especially with the success of their most recent album, so I can't think of a better time for them to do it than 2007.
