Former "American Idol" contestant Corey Clark was arrested in North Little Rock, Arkansas yesterday on drug charges. Clark was picked up around 2:30 AM for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
You may remember Clark as the "AI" contestant who claimed he was having an affair with Paula Abdul.
What's with all these former "American Idol" contestants causing trouble? This guy get picked up for doing drugs. Jessica Sierra was arrested for battery back in April. Sanjaya's mom was a pot dealer. Olivia Mojica and Mario Vazquez both had sex scandals. Antonella Barba was... Antonella Barba. Even the successful ones are up to no good. Kelly Clarkson is causing problems for her label, Clay Aiken is putting his foot on people's arms, and Carrie Underwood is caught up in an pseudo-anorexia scandal (although that one was probably just made up by jealous girls). And of course, who could forget the time Justin Guarini getting embarrassed by that other guy in a motorboat basketball game in From Justin to Kelly.
If this trend continues, it shouldn't be long before we see the first "American Idol" murderer. My money is on Taylor Hicks; I think that guy's got an evil streak in him. Now, you're probably saying, "but Taylor Hicks is such a nice guy!" Yeah, so was O.J. in the early 90s. Remember Naked Gun? The Juice was so lovable. It's only a matter of time until Hicks beats some concert promoter a baseball bat, then drives over his unconscious body with a Ford truck while screaming, "DOES THAT MAKE YOU PROUD, MOTHERFUCKER?!?!?!"
